Viking Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:VKSY), a manufacturer of 3D laparoscopic vision systems for use in minimally invasive surgery, announced today the addition of two key members to the Company's Commercial Operations management team. Eric N. Cohill has joined as Viking's Vice President, Sales, and Stephen B. Song as the Company's Product Director.

Eric Cohill has twenty years of surgical sales and management experience. He has held senior management positions and was instrumental in developing the sales organizations at Cryogen, Inc. and Curon Medical. Eric spent 12 years at US Surgical and most recently held a senior sales position at Laserscope.

He has contributed to the success of many companies such as ConMed Corp., Advanced Sterilization Products, a division of Johnson & Johnson, and most recently at Karl Storz Endoscopy America where he was responsible for directing the gynecology business.

"As a result of the surgical community's mounting desire to use 3D visualization in the operating room, we have added two seasoned members of the medical device industry to our management team," said Lonna J. Williams, Senior Vice-President, Commercial Operations. "Both Eric and Stephen bring with them an acute understanding of this surgical space, both clinically and commercially, positioning the Company to execute the type of programs which define and deliver the benefits 3D vision brings to minimally invasive surgery."
